Dawn of the Debt

Originally titled $647,000 in debt and unemployed, which I was as of Christmas Eve 2008, I am creating a new theme for my blog. I am considering every dollar of my debt as a blood thirsty zombie and as I go on a quest to clean up my city I encounter a lot of drama. Wow I sound like a nerd! But I found using zombies as an analogy to my debt to be very effective for me. I love the game Resident Evil. I love the movie Dawn of the Dead. And yesterday when I went out for dinner and passed on a $10 cocktail drink, I chuckled as I thought to myself, "Ha, I just killed 10 zombies." So I have 647,000 zombies to kill. I have to mend the relationship with my fiance. I have to struggle with my inner demons to stay strong at work and school. On 12/24/08 all I had was a knife. Now I have a handgun. But I need to keep working and searching for something bigger and stronger to once and for all clean up my city while I discover more about myself.
